Will was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He graduated with degrees from both Seattle Pacific University and the University of Washington, and worked as a physical therapist for 7 years in the greater Seattle area. It was during that time that Will was also first introduced to the real estate industry by working part time for one of his older brothers, an experienced local home builder.
In 1998, Will and his wife, Marla moved to Colorado Springs in search of sunny weather and a great place to raise a family. They and their two kids, Andreas and Anna, settled in to the NW part of town in the Mountain Shadows neighborhood. Will began his career in real estate here first as an appraiser, and has done nearly 2,000 appraisals to date. While working as an appraiser, Will began to receive calls from several local realtors, asking for his opinion both on property values and also on how much he thought their clients should consider paying for particular properties. It was during that time that Will realized that he could bring a level of expertise and service that was much needed in real estate.
Will’s appraisal training and expertise and his reputation for being thorough and uncompromisingly honest have been the most frequently cited reasons that Will’s real estate clients refer him to others. While he has assisted both Sellers and Buyers, his passion and focus is in working more with Buyers. Will’s pledge to all his clients is to ensure that they never pay more than fair market value for a property, and that they buy properties with excellent resale potential.
